Sowing
Sow undercover between March and June, then harden off and transplant when they are approx 15cm tall and have 5-6 leaves.
Harvest
Tundra variety is a hardy winter cabbage, ready for harvesting from November onwards.
Protection
Cabbages need fine mesh netting to protect against cabbage butterflies and pigeons.
A brassica collar around the base helps protect against cabbage root fly.
